Gran Hamada & MEN'S Teio vs. Pentagon & Masaaki Mochizuki. More toward the Lucha style of Mexico than we usually see in Michinoku.Hamada, who bled, was the best in the match even though he usually worked with Pentagon, who doesn't add much. Mochizuki & Teio weren't in focus and didn't do anything special. **1/2
The Great Sasuke & Dragon Kid & Tokushima Ramen Mask vs. CIMA & Big (Sumo) Fuji & Apache. Tokushima Ramen is kind of like Curry Man except the bowl on his head has "ramen" in it. Spectacular match. It wasn't so much the moves, but the display of athleticism by the technicos. One neat spot was Sasuke doing his senton atomico onto CIMA, who was on the apron, and then rolling through so he landed on the floor. The match was uneven and contained a lame finish, but it was awesome when the technicos had their aerial attack going. ***3/4
Tiger Mask vs. Jinsei Shinzaki. Some big spots throughout, but the pace was awfully slow and the match was marred by poorly sold submissions that were locked in forever. Based on their handling of the submissions, I was shocked that the match actually ended with one. It should have been a good match considering who was in it, but beyond all the other problems it only lasted a little more than 9 minutes. **

Future Champ League V6: Kazuya Yuasa vs.Urban Ken. Ken wasn't as good as usual, but it seemed okay for what it was. 4:40 shown
Gran Hamada & Dick Togo & Tiger Mask vs. Pentagon & Apache & Shinigami. Not one of the classic Michinoku tags, but contained 5 minutes of really good, even though not overly dramatic, minutes. Togo was the standout even though it's pretty much a waste to have him on the technico side. ***1/4
NWA World Middleweight Title Match: The Great Sasuke vs. Masao Orihara. I was really disappointed with this match. The structuring was poor, and it didn't seem to go anywhere. It came off lame when they were both acting half dead because the offense didn't warrant it. **

IWGP Junior Tag Title Match: Jado & Gedo vs. The Great Sasuke & Tiger Mask 18:17. Jado & Gedo can have good matches when the opposition is up to it. It doesn't take too much, just the motivation to provide the offense that makes up for their lulls in the action. Sasuke & Tiger came out blazing, and were spectacular when they were on offense, which actually wasn't that much. However, they impressed us right off the bat, and then went right to their best moves when they finally made their comeback. Tiger as in top form, crisp, quick, countering nicely, and Sasuke was flying all over the place. Jado & Gedo were fine because their job was to slow the faces down and be the base for their flying. They basically just played heel, double teaming the faces and roughing them up. Their blows had noticably more on them than they tend to in NJ, but I suppose it helps when the opponents are motivated and the fans are cheering. Sasuke put Jado on a table and tried a senton atomico to the floor, pretty much overshooting the table so there was nothing to break his fall. He was down for a little while, but, as usual, was able to keep on going as if nothing happened. I didn't really care for the finish where Sasuke was prepared to leap off the top, but Jado threw a chair at him, knocking him off the top so Gedo could hit his complete shot, but I suppose the cheapness adds to Jado & Gedo's allure, so to speak.
