Kamikaze made his 3rd successful defense of the BJW Nintei Heavykyu Senshuken, pinning Shunme Matsuzaki in a German suplex hold at 16:50. Why would you bother taking out a near 5,000 seat arena for this match? There's probably been worse, but this is the lowest announced attendance I can remember for this venue. They usually throw out numbers around 2500 when the shows totally bomb to protect the promotions. Kamikaze talked to Hideki Hosaka on the phone and they decided they'd like to challenge for All Japan's Asia Tag Senshuken after winning Big Japan's tag league. It shows how big Big Japan is that the winner of their tournament is hoping to challenge for the ever so lofty and valuable Asia Tag titles.
MEN'S & Daisuke Sekimoto made their 2nd successful defense of the BJW Nintei Tag Senshuken, defeating Kasai & Justice Pain when Sekimoto pinned Pain at 16:30.
Kashmere made his 1st successful defense of the BJW Nintei Junior Heavykyu Senshuken when he pinned Ryuji Ito at 8:32.

Zandig beat Kasai at 15:17 of a Glass & Barbed Wire Board Death Match to successfully defended the Dai Nihon Death Match Heavykyu Senshuken.
Masato Tanaka & Jado went to a 30:00 draw with Kamikaze & Hosaka.
Kintaro Kanemura pinned Sekimoto at 8:31.

3/26 Tokyo Korakuen Hall 2,000
In a 4 vs. 4 Elimination Match, WX & Winger & Kanemura & Teio beat Zandig & WifeBeater & Pondo & Kasai when Kanemura pinned Pondo at 27:05. Kanemura is subbing for his injured partner Yamakawa in the death match tournament as well.
Masato Tanaka & Jado & Gedo defeated Kamikaze & Matsuzaki & Sekimoto when Tanaka pinned Sekimoto at 19:17.

3/18 Hakata Starlane 2,100
In 1st round matches of the tournament to crown the 1st Big Japan Wrestling champion, Zandig pinned Sekimoto at 7:12, Benkei upset WX in 8:48, Kamikaze pinned Madman in 6:33, & WifeBeater beat Yamakawa by ref stop at 8:33. The reason the ref stopped the Yamakawa match was that instead of WifeBeater chokeslamming Yamakawa over the top through the table to the floor, Yamakawa didn't hit the table and cracked his head on the floor, fracturing a head bone. Yamakawa had internal bleeding, and will probably be on the shelf for some time.

Tomoaki Honma is no longer a member of the promotion. He will wrestle as a free agent, but so far not for Big Japan. This pretty much ruins the promotion because, for the most part, everyone needed Honma as an opponent to have a good match. Well, CZW really ruined the promotion because the shows from mid '99 until they showed up were quite good for hardcore wrestling, but once Zandig and his clowns showed up it was back to very little skill being displayed and just getting by on gore.

2/24 Tokyo Korakuen Hall 2,100 sellout
Zandig pinning Shadow WX at 17:05 in a CZW Style Barbed Wire & Barbed Wire Board Death Match. Zandig used horse radish in this match. This pissed WX off, who then was able to convince President Kojika to remove the ban on fire matches so he could retaliate. This ban had been instated after the 2/27/00 show where WX's patented fire body press went awry, resulting in WX getting some serious and the audience being endangered. Kojika didn't totally remove it, but decided they were okay outdoors so one could be held on 4/1 in Osaka.
Yamakawa & Kanemura beat Cajimere (sp?) & Kasai in a CZW Style Philadelphia Banana Match when Yamakawa pinned Cajimere at 16:48.

1/28 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
Shadow WX pinned Ryuji Yamakawa at 17:14.
Teio & Daisuke Sekimoto captured the Dai Nihon Tag Senshuken, defeating Abdullah Kobayashi & Kamikaze when Teio pinned Kobayashi at 14:09.
Teio successfully defended the CZW Junior Heavyweight Title in a Barbed Wire Board Death Match, forcing Winger to submit to a bow and arrow that involved barbed wire.

In they final, they defeated Zandig & Jun Kasai when Yamakawa pinned Kasai at 8:54. Zandig & Kasai made it to the final by upsetting Abdullah The Butcher & Shadow WX when Kasai pinned Butcher at 7:49.
Kiyoko Ichiki captured the Dia Nihon Joshi Single Senshuken when she pinned Misae Genki at 16:50.

Zandig successfully defended the Dai Nihon Nintei Death Match Heavykyu Senshuken in a Cactus & Yuushitessen Death Match, pinning Tomoaki Honma at 17:09 by holding the cactus against Honma's body and hooking both legs. Since Honma yielded to the power of CZW just like Yamakawa did in the last title match, Yamakawa would like to reform the BJ Jacks with Honma to concentrate on fending off CZW. Honma is supposed to be against the idea, but I think they are already scheduled to have some tag matches.

In a Fire Death Match, Zandig & Nick Gage defeated Mitsuhiro Matsunaga & Jun Kasai when Zandig pinned Matsunaga with his diving body press at 21:22. The CZW team poured kerosene on the mat and lit it up. At one point Kasai slid on the kerosene head first into a barbed wire board. Later Zandig threw Kasai off a 7 meter truck through a burning table. Since Matsunaga was defeated in this style of death match and the regulation department manager says no more fire death matches because they are too dangerous, he challenged the CZW guys to an animal death match. Maybe if we get a sequel to the infamous piranha death match, we'll actually get to see the piranha's do more than swim around a bloody tank. If so, the piranha's are sure to outwork the CZW guys.
Shadow WX & Ryuji Yamakawa made their first successful defense of the Dai Nihon Nintei Tag Senshuken, defeating former champions Kamikaze & Shunme Matsuzaki when Yamakawa pinned Kamikaze at 20:26.
