Dr. Wagner Jr. (C) & Emilio Charles Jr. & Bestia Salvaje
vs.
Rayo De Jalisco Jr. (C) & Atlantis & Negro Casas

1) After some brief brawling at the outset they went more towards wrestling for the remainder of this fall, with los rudos have the edge. Casas got pinned off an elbow by Charles that followed a stiff basement dropkick by Doc. Atlantis then tapped to Salvaje’s version of the Koji clutch.

2) Pretty lame brawling dominated this fall, save a very short but cool segment with Salvaje and Casas that led to the finish. Salvaje went helastiff with some kicks and chops, so Casas replied with a boot that Test only can dream of throwing. A dropkick to the knee and la magistral followed for the first half of the victory. Atlantis completed the fall with his catching Charles in Charge…ing in his spinning backbreaker to put three on the tree.

3) Main focus here was on Rayo and Doc. Wasn’t as good as you’d expect however, as Rayo had such an off night that he may as well have not shown up at all. Doc put him away with a low blow during a ref bump to end it. 13:14

Killer (C) & Nitro & Veneno
vs.
Gran Markus Jr. (C) & Poder Boricua & Mr. Mexico
Taped Arena Mexico, D.F.

1) There’s no point in putting out a façade of a review by trying to describe this shit. As you know by now if you’ve been watching for yourself or reading for the last month and a half, these guys totally fucking suck and love to flaunt it. Their repetitiveness makes Flair look innovative and fresh by comparison. But at least he was always fun to watch. Nitro pinned Markus after a rolling senton by Veneno to lead to the second fall.

2) Poder was dragged backstage and unmasked in a hallway. In the ring, Markus tapped out when getting kicked by Veneno as the other glorified jobbers held him up. Mexico put us out of our misery by doing the same to an eastern stretch. 6:06

Tarzan Boy (C) & Ultimo Guerrero & Rey Bucanero
vs.
Shocker (C) & El Satanico & Mascara Magica

1) Ah… at least you can always count on Los Guerreros and Shocker to make it worthwhile. The heroic trio jumped Shocker y company before they got in the ring and tossed them all over the entrance ramp. Before they could regain themselves Shocker tapped out to a double arm and leg lock by Rey y Ultimo, while Tarzan stood posing on his back. As usual, all kinds of great double and triple team spots by LGDI with the only flaw being a weak total elimination by Rey y Ultimo on Magica.

2) Los Guerreros also controlled most of this short fall. But most doesn’t mean all, and the last 20 seconds belonged to Shocker’s boys. Tarzan took a running springboard plancha on the floor by Shocker, which allowed Magica to apply the rings of Saturn to Rey for the tap while Satanico’s backslide on Ultimo was good enough for a 3 count.

3) Good when Satanico and Magica were involved, but awesome when Shocker re-entered the fray. Hectic pacing leading to the finish, as Shocker and Los G’s tore it down again and were flying all over the place. Magica was able to ground Tarzan with an STO, though, and then put him in a spinning noose and backbreaker for the endgame. As expected, another excellent showing by Los Guerreros and El 1000% Guapo. 13:15

A Una Sola Caida:
Lady Apache & Miss Janeth
vs.
Esther Moreno & Martha Villalobos

Amazingly enough this wasn’t a DUD. It wasn’t good either, but infinitely better than the Reina de Reinas match a few weeks ago (though it’d be nearly impossible for them to hit that low again). Apache was solid and Esther wasn’t sloppy, so they were able to carry the match and smartly spent most of the time in the ring together. Luna Magica got involved throughout, but didn’t favor one side over the other. She also didn’t do much aside from holding up a sign, but Martha punked her towards the finish. Surprising heat for the match, with Martha’s teasing of a dive off the apron getting loud heat. Also surprisingly, the actual dive got a much more reserved response from the crowd. Electroshock came out and destroyed Lady with a chair to continue their soap opera, and she juice from it. Moreno then put away Janeth with a moonsault, and after Electroshock tossed Apache back in Villalobos splashed her off the second turnbuckle for the win. 7:42

Electroshock (C) & Hector Garza & Heavy Metal
vs.
Canek & Perro Aguayo Jr. & Gronda

1) Somebody needs to slap the ass clown producers of AAA for having literally 4 commercial breaks during this match. And what a match it was. The story was that all 6 guys didn’t like each other and nobody wanted to be on each other’s teams, so there was more stalling here than in a Kevin Nash match. Crowd couldn’t care less about anyone, but Perro who got huge heat throughout. The problem was that of the 8 minutes this fall went maybe 3 contained actual wrestling, so they killed most of the crowd pretty quick. Electro’s team was DQ’d for refusing to relent on mudhole stomping Perro while he was in the ropes.

2) More of the same shit, with Apache being kind enough to do a run-in and stop this insanity. This time she clobbered Shock with a chair giving Perro the chance to give him a running footstomp for the win. A total car wreck, with a lot of backseat drivers but no one manning the steering wheel. 15:30
