Campeonato Nacional de Tercias:
Los Infernales: Satanico (C) & Averno & Mephisto
vs.
Nichio El Millonario (C) & Damian 666 & Halloween

1) Satanico got the immediate upper hand on Damien to start the match. So La Familia threatened a walkout and stalled a good 45 seconds (nearly half the fall) on the ramp. When they finally stopped teasing, all 3 got in the ring and pounded Satanico with fairly stiff punches and forearms to the back. After knocking their masked opponents to the floor the Tj boys beat Satanico with triple leg drops. Damien did the painted Hardy drop to the hamstrings as Halloween did a standard. The original Psicosis then came off the top for the pin.

2) Wild middle fall with both teams having an advantage at points. La Familia controlled the first half with more stiffness on Satanico, who managed some loud shots of his own. Eventually he caught the charging Nichio with a backdrop over the corner post to the floor. Mephisto then nailed Escalation 666 with a sunset flip over the ropes into a powerbomb on the floor, and in the ring Nichio took two triple team powerbombs to force a third fall.

3) Another crazy stanza as these guys chopped and lariated the hell out of each other. Great near fall saw stereo powerbombs by Nichio y Halloween on Mephisto and Averno. They both put their feet on the ropes but only managed 2 counts. They all hit the floor, which gave way to Satanico and Damien back in the ring. Satanico got Triple Seises to tap to a standing figure four. But both refs were checking the guys on the floor, so Satanico let him up and whipped him into the ropes. Damien nailed one of the refs trying to get back in the ring then Satanico with a knee lift through the five hole for the 3 and new champions. Great and intense match with serious heat that is easily the stiffest Lucha I’ve ever seen. 11:15

Atlantis (C) & Mil Mascaras & Vampiro
vs.
Dr. Wagner Jr. (C) & Apolo Dantes & Black Tiger

1) Dantes had red and black marker drawn lines over his balding scalp that looked totally helastupid. Acceptable but boring start between Mr. Personalidad and the checkerboard. Match picked up by light years when Mascaras got on the apron and out of the action. Vamp beat Tiger with a spinwheel kick off the top followed by Mil tapping Doc to a bearhug.

2) Los rudos started out by making nearly as many errors as Roger Cedeno will in centerfield this year. Well, not that many, nobody could. These guys did it on purpose however, as Atlantis was shucking and jiving them. Rudos did take over however as Vamp fell to 3 moonsaults by Tiger and a Ligerbomb by Doc. Then Dantes splashes the lost city off the top to gain the rubber fall as Doc did his royally cool pose.

3) Muy brevemente fall where Mil pinned Dantes with a crossbody off the top as Doc quit to Atlantis’ backbreaker. 14:13

Guerra de Empresas, Toreo Cuatro Caminos:
Cibernetico (C) & Heavy Metal & Hector Garza & Leatherface
vs.
Latin Lover (C) & La Parka & Mr. Aguila & Super Crazy

Agradezca a dios que ésta era solamente una caída. If you thought AKINO’s heel turn was a helalame carwreck then welcome to the Hall Of Shame because Aguila’s turn in this match was even worse. He looked confused, and so did everyone else, as there was a lot of standing around in the ring doing nothing by too many guys. Otherwise, lots of brawling and very little science. Highlight (I guess) was Leatherface’s pants and apron briefly igniting after Lover gave him a drop toe hold into a Fire Of Unknown Origin. Ok, it was of his own doing but Parka was the only good thing about this match as he was one like neckbone and as usual down like four flat tires. Susan Powter was smiling as the insanity finally stopped as los tecnicos won by DQ. Garza roll shamoed Lover but sold one was well. The heel ref went to give him the match, but face ref Tirantes Jr. tripped him and raised Lover’s hand giving him the match. In a chilling twist of irony, this match lasted exactly as long as the match that opened the EMLL part of the show. But that was the only similarity between the two, as aside from Parka this totally sucked ass. 11:15

Cuadrangular de Cabelleros, Toreo Cuatro Caminos:
El Dandy vs. Electroshock vs. El Zorro vs. Hijo de Perro Aguayo

Shock y Zorro started out, and Shock took an Irish whip into the ropes as an opportunity to slide outside and kiss Lady Apache (Zorro’s second). Shock got back in the ring and Zorro grabbed some Singapore natural birch. Cameras cut to the floor to show Perro knocking around Dandy and when they got back to the ring both Zorro and Shock were pouring. Dandy recovered to field goal Zorro in front of referee Tirantes Jr. and covered him for the 3. But El Hijo de Tirantes remembered that he’s a face and DQ’d Dandy to give Zorro a reprieve and exit from the match. Apache then interfered on Perro’s behalf, but caught him with a chairshot that garnered a serious blade job by Jr. Shock then kissed her again then slapped her and threw her out of the ring (which I’m seriously sick of seeing). Perro then got up to go down to a spinwheel kick and then was tapped by Shock to leave him and Dandy. After Perro bit and basement dropkicked Dandy on top of the head, Tirantes gave Dandy the most obvious blade job ever. Dandy was sitting in the middle of the ring and they didn’t even try to disguise it, in fact the camera zoomed in before realizing what they were doing and cut to a wide angle. Garza and Lover interfered which led to Perro hitting a chairshot and footstomp off the top to win Dandy’s baldness. Huge heat for Perro as usual but with that noise comes another bad match. 10:22
