THE FINAL TWINSTAR TWINSTAR OF ARSION Title Match:
Rie Tamada & Hiromi Yagi
vs.
Tiger Dream & Ayako Hamada

This was basically the Hiromi Yagi show, as she was a few notches above of the others. Yagi doesn't waste a motion, and everything she does is so precise and well done. Yagi also did a really good job of saving Hamada from obviously blown spots. Still, it was once again obvious that Hamada was out of her league. At this early stage in her career, she really has nothing beyond her great high spots, and she misses more of them than a lot of the more experienced spot wrestlers do. There was such a difference in the match when Tiger was in, particularly when it came to the execution of the cool flying moves. Luckily, Tiger, Yagi, and surprisingly Tamada, were good enough to make it a very good match in spite of Hamada. I don't want to rag on Hamada too much because when you come right down to it, she always does well for a rookie. The problem is that rookies aren't supposed to be pushed on this level. Hamada is good enough that it's certainly not a joke that she receives this push, but it's not wrong to expect a more polished worker to be vying to half of the first ever ARSION tag champs.

This was a fast-paced match that focused on the work and high spots. This is Tamada's style, so she made a good showing here. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, the match didn't seem to build. Yagi & Tiger Dream started, but Hamada pulled Tiger into the corner to tag herself in before Yagi & Tiger could even lock up. Hamada quebrada'd both opponents in the ring early on. Later on, she did her super quebrada to both outside the ring. The problem with both of these spots is that Tamada & Yagi weren't close enough together, so Hamada basically landed in the middle of them. The moves looked incredible until she made contact with them, and from that point it looked weak because it was obvious that they were putting over a move that barely even hit them. One good thing about how they put over the moves in this match was that Tiger seemed to be taking more of the great athletic bumps that Yagi is known for.

One highlight was Yagi whipping Tiger into the corner and doing a great dropkick then Yagi & Tamada did consecutive diving footstomps followed by a double diving footstomp. The finish saw Yagi beat Tiger out of nowhere with a facelock. Tiger losing shows you just how much they think of Hamada, especially since everyone knows Tiger is Candy, and Candy had a match for the top singles title less than two weeks later. This match also shows how much ARSION thinks of Yagi because they let her get her revenge on Tiger Dream in a match where it meant she would become one half of their tag champions even though she was the only wrestler in the tournament that wasn't a member of ARSION. Too bad this push didn't continue after she finally lost these tag titles. At least by that point Ayako was wrestling at close to the level she was being pushed at, although that's partly because her push decreased even though her work improved.
