Tiger Dream & Hamada vs. Gami & Lady Metal. The coolest double team spot Gami & Lady have is swinging their opponent into a double Argentine backbreaker. Hamada did the KAORU swandive moonsault and the Gran Hamada diving swinging DDT in this one. Gami pinned Hamada with la Gamistral (la magistral) though. 19:43 (2:25 shown). Yoshida & Akino vs. Omukai & Fukawa. This appeared to be a very good match. Omukai kicked Akino's hand away, rather than shake it before the match. Akino was barely shown after that. Omukai & Fukawa worked really well together. Omukai used her rolling savate to score one of the biggest pins of her career here, handing Yoshida a rare loss. This somewhat avenged losing to Yoshida in the semifinals of ZION '98. 16:27 (4:47) |

Mari & Fabi Apache vs. Yoshida & Akino. The focus of the highlights was on the Apache's double team moves, culminating with Akino getting pinned by their super powerbomb. 17:55 (0:38 shown) |

Mari & Fabi Apache vs. Omukai & Fukawa. The Apache's continued their surprisingly hot start to the tournament when Mari pinned Fukawa with a super powerbomb. Believe it or not, this gave the Apache's 6 points already, which put them in a tie for first place with Yoshida & Akino. These fast starts for the teams we figured would do bad gave them both some much needed credibility. 11:07 (0:47) |
