Hotta was mad at Takako for teaming with the evil ZAPs, so she wrecked her before the match. The Zaps used their heel tactics on Hotta, causing her to juice early in the match. The work was quite good, although they went too heavy on the gimmick spots. At least the rod spots were very stiff this time since Nakahara wasn't around. This match got everyone into it, as Momoe & Takahashi & Wakizawa all interfered on the behalf of Hotta's team. The selling was weak, but everyone looked good doing their spots, which I suppose could be said for most good women's matches that year. Takako wound up pinning Maekawa with her destiny hammer. 26:32
