| Noriko Toyoda vs. ZAP Isozaki | |

This was a really basic rookie match, but I liked what I saw from these two. Of course, it was a really short match that was highly edited, so I didn't get my hopes up then and now there's really nothing to hope for. What I liked about Isozaki is she showed good athleticism. She mainly did dropkicks, of course, but she definitely had the potential to do better moves. She did do a space rolling elbow that really wasn't all that great, but I think it's a move she would have been able to do well with more practice. Toyoda's execution was surprisingly stiff and crisp. It was similar to Ito's, although Toyoda's move set is obviously way tighter and simpler. Toyoda won with a body slam. 6:32 (1:50 aired) |
