Kanako Motoya & Yoshiko Tamura
(Neo) vs. Mima Shimoda & Etsuko Mita (Neo) |
|
This was a very good match with LCO adapting their style to meet the needs of the opposition. It was mainly work and spots, with surprisingly little brawling. The execution could have been a little better, but it wasn't what you'd call a problem. Motoya & Tamura were more competitive than you'd expect. Michael: I disagree with Motoya & Tamura being more competitive than expected. I expected them to get in a good amount of offense since LCO wasn't wrestling in Neo and Yamamoto isn't going to bring them in to just roll over one of his girls when he already has Devil to do that. One problem with the young girls spots that take a long time to set up is that they don't give the opponent a reason to sell long enough that they can't avoid them. On the other hand, the reason Motoya could stay down for veteran Shimoda's railing drop is that Mita rammed a chair into her stomach just before Mima came off the top rope. Tamura would get squashed by LCO in Neo, and Motoya's standing wasn't that great at this point (she had like very wins over anyone of note), so I felt the possibility of it being a useless match existed. Certainly, I'm happy that LCO did things the right way, rather than the Neo way. Special Thanks to: Michael Smith 15:46
