Sari Osumi & Kayoko Haruyama vs. Kanako Motoya & Erika Watanabe |
|
Osumi tried to work a regular set of spots with Motoya, but they blew a few spots and Osumi was out of position for one of Motoya's flying moves. This was actually worse than the previous two matches in a way because they tried to do a lot more, but weren't able to pull the spots off. Motoya isn't close to the level where she could save this, but I'm not sure that Jaguar could have made this a good match. Watanabe did more of her defensive lineman shoulder attacks. I might be able to tolerate the facts that Watanabe is deliberate, awkward, and so far awful in the ring, if she didn't look like a cross between Yuki Nabeno and Akemi Torisu and wrestle 1/10th as "well." Jason: Nah, I don't think anybody can tolerate Watanabe being deliberate, awkward and awful in the ring. A hybrid of Nabeno and Torisu - "shudder." Michael: The spot where Haruyama tried to do that sit down waist lock with Sari onto Motoya was pathetic since Haruyama collapsed trying to lift Sari, and Kanako just laid there forever waiting for them to redo it. This is where a veteran needed to tell them to kick Kanako or someone needed to step up and do something so Kanako didn't look so bad just laying there forever while they reset the spot.
