The main point of this match was Miyaguchi dominating Kansai, and eventually scoring her first pin on her. Devil had one of her best performances of the year. Unfortunately, Kansai & Miyaguchi were off, so it turned out to be a disappointing match. Motoya was just kind of there. They would often take her out, so it would be 2-1 against Kansai. Michael: To show how good this match was, the thing I liked the best about it was Devil's enthusiasm about Miyaguchi pinning Kansai. Jason: I would have liked to have seen more of the portions that Motoya worked, but the most important thing was the Miyaguchi/Kansai portion. Their stuff worked even though the crowd didn't pop that huge for it like I had hoped. Still, there was enough pop to think that finish had the effect of elevating Miyaguchi in the fan's minds, so the match worked the way they wanted it to. Even though it was huge that Miyaguchi pinned Kansai, I wish she could have gotten a little more of her own offense in to lead to the pin, rather than relying so much on Devil to bail her out.
