Hikari Fukuoka & Tomoko Kuzumi
& Tomoko Miyaguchi vs. Kyoko Inoue & Yoshiko Tamura & Tanny Mouse (Neo Ladies team) |
|
Much of the time devoted to this match would have been better spent on the previous matches that were much better. I undestand why they showed it, and while I'm selfish in wanting to see more of the better matches, I wouldn't complain as much about it if it wasn't for the fact that this match didn't do much to make me want to see this feud. A lot of the problem is that, while the match was really good in points, there were too many missed spots that should have been Heyman'd out in favor of the better footage from earlier. Kuzumi & Tamura looked good together and I'd like to see them have another singles match, but it makes no sense for JWP to have these two wrestle because Tamura is a just a midcarder that can't beat any of the top stars in Neo. Miyaguchi & Kuzumi were the two best wrestlers in this particular match. Tanny was beyond awful and killed the match. I certainly have no use for any more Tanny over Kana debacles, and it would be worse if she branched out to Miyaguchi. Kyoko got the pin with her Niagara driver, which was another reason this match didn't do much for JWP. After the match, Eagle Sawai & Michiko Nagashima & Sayori Okino of the heel group that has had as many different names as Fuyuki attacked the JWP team, which caused JWP President Masatoshi Yamamoto to go nuts. 25:42 (14:40 aired) Keith: The crowd was surprisingly (at least to me) against Kyoko Inoue in this match, probably because it was pro-JWP. Still, I wouldn't have been surprised if Inoue's no-selling of the youngster's moves frustrated some people. Tanny should be working concession with Bischoff. Kuzumi and Tamura make a good team, and better opponents. Michael: It seems like every time Yoshiko works against an outsider on the other leagues show we say her stuff was good. I love how Yamamoto does angles, as his reactions are so great. It was funny how he acted like he didn't know what to do when G-Max was punking the JWP girls. For instance, he would hop on the apron then jump down and say something on the mic and walk around while the announcer held him back. I liked the angle, but it was obvious that everyone involved didn't know what to do. It would've come off better if G-Max got in Yamamoto's face and punked the seconds like Sari and Kanako instead of them just standing around for them most part. I also liked Kazama's concerned look when they showed her arrive in the back. Special Thanks to: Michael Smith & Keith Watanabe - Manami Toyota Rules!
