Zen Nihon Tag Oza Ketteisen: Miho Wakizawa & Kayo Noumi vs. Yuko Kosugi & Sumie Sakai |
|
Another good match, although this time it was mainly because of the Jd' wrestlers. The match didn't build and it was dull in points, but they did good moves to make up for their lack of overall ability. The execution was good, although not main event calibre. The fans didn't react to it like it was a main event either. Considering MihoKayo was involved, the match was probably better than it should have been. That said, there was nothing to make this match special or out of the ordinary because spots were all these four had to offer. Miho held both opponents early so Kayo could give them a plancha. Sakai did all her flying moves here, and even some new moves like an in ring quebrada to both opponents. She was the star of the match, although Kosugi's execution was definitely better. MihoKayo jumped around a lot, but they never do anything outstanding. This was slightly better than the previous match, but the lack of build to the finish hurt. The finish saw Kosugi give Miho her diving footstomp to the floor. In the ring, she did her bungee foot stick (same as the diving footstomp except her opponent is standing) then pulled Miho off the middle rope and delivered the fisherman buster like Jaguar Yokota for the win. The moves were big, but without the build or the the crowd reaction, it didn't feel like the finisher. Kosugi & Sakai became the 29th champions. Jason: MihoKayo were so outclassed in this match. Like you said, they didn't really do anything noticeable, but Kosugi and Sakai supplied all of the work that moved the match along. Kosugi and Sakai deserved the win and the titles.
