You can't put Kosugi in this type of match if you want people to take her seriously and consider her a star. Wakizawa showed potential here, but she made a few mistakes. Toyoda has no offense. Well, why limit it to offense, she just has no skill. She took the match down, especially since she logged too many minutes during the portion that aired. Kosugi didn't work enough and Abe was kind of a non-factor. This wasn't much of a match due to blown and mistimed spots on top of the fact that Abe & Toyoda aren't much to begin with. Michael: Apparently I'm going to have to lay the almighty smack down here because this Abe bashing has gone far enough. Was this match good? No, but that's mainly due to the fact that these are all young girls who haven't really been pushed or taught right except for Kosugi. Toyoda hasn't really shown me anything the few times I've seen her, but Abe could be good if she was taken under someone's wing like Kosugi and Bloody were. To say she isn't much isn't fair to her because she really hasn't been given the chance to be. The match suffered because there was no one here to guide the match. Miho is getting better like I've been pushing on you, but she's still learning. Overall the fact that the girls weren't familiar with each other probably hurt as well, but to be fair this match did nothing to help anyone in it. I think it's fair to say Abe isn't much because she's not showing much at the moment or at any moment in 1998 for that matter. Whether she could be something if used differently is a whole different story. Michael: Abe's shown that she might be a decent worker one day, but has yet to show anything outside of a few nice spots. Whether she could improve remains to be seen, but the fact is she hasn't been given the chance to blossom like The Bloody, Kosugi, and Sakai have. Special thanks to: Michael Smith 16:11 (7:45 aired)
